Engage with leading geotechnical professionals, researchers, and practitioners in a series of interactive pre-conference workshops designed to inspire, challenge, and connect.

All PMGEC 2026 Workshops will take place on Wednesday, 25 March 2026, at the Phoenicia Hotel, Beirut.
Exact room allocations will be announced closer to the event.

Workshops are available for selection during the registration process.
Already registered? Delegates who have already registered may still sign up for the Rocscience and/or Huesker Workshops. Confirmation will be communicated via a separate email.

ADVANCED TECHNIQUES IN SETTLEMENT AND FOUNDATION ANALYSIS

This intensive workshop is designed for practicing geotechnical engineers and focuses on practical design applications in settlement, foundation, and seismic analysis. Participants will engage in hands-on exercises using industry-leading geotechnical software, including Settle3, RSLog, RSPile, RS3, and RSSeismic. The workshop emphasizes real-world design challenges, advanced modeling techniques, and the integration of field data into design workflows.

INTRODUCTION TO GEOSYNTHETICS AND THEIR APPLICATIONS 

Geosynthetics are versatile materials increasingly used in geotechnical, hydraulic, and environmental engineering. This workshop introduces the fundamentals of geosynthetics and showcases their practical applications through case studies and demonstrations.
Participants will gain both technical knowledge and insights into innovative solutions for sustainable construction.
